Four motors: Cooperation with the Danube. Under the presidency of Baden-Württemberg, the 4 motors bind Europe to reinforce the Danube in a transnational cooperation. Besides Baden-Württemberg, the regions of Catalonia, Lombardy and Rhône-Alpes offer in the central and eastern Danube the much needed best practice. Therefore, government and industry representatives met in the Serbian city of Novi Sad.

02.07.2013: Integrated into the overall program was the innovative conference on Smart Spacialisation. On innovation and technology transfer has been allocated a separate program item. Moderated by Prof. Gronau, the European Representative of Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economy, the Baden-Württemberg for technology transfer pilot project was presented and discussed in the Danube region. SDZ-manager Jürgen Raizner reflected this topic in his first speech on the issue ("Fostering Innovation: Challenging Needs of Enterprises in the Danube Region"). This was followed by presentations by the project partners about the construction of the Danube-transfer centers (DTC) in Romania, Serbia and Slovakia. Jürgen Raizner had an internal meeting a day before, about prospects for the establishment of additional DTCs in Croatia, Bulgaria and other regions of Romania.
