The objects of search are technologies, innovations and ideas on both production and application of honey (Project No. 2092)

“Bees. Honey. Beeyard” Conference was held in Ufa for the first time. Conference duration: from 18 to 20 February 2009. Honey producers and beekeepers together with scientific and medical organizations were invited from Bashkortostan.

The event was organized by Bashtechinform, a partner of Steinbeis, with the support of the Bashkir Academy of Science and Ministry of Industry, Investment and Innovation Policy.

The Conference participants were interested in technologies, innovations and ideas on effective honey production and its application. You may introduce your own technical solutions, business ideas and sales concept. Bashtechinform and STC guarantee that your information will be transferred to the participants.

Russian Republic of Bashkortostan has much to offer: the largest European petrochemical complex, aviation and space technology, etc. But the Bashkir honey is still the most famous thing here. Various sorts of honey are offered, all being of extremely high quality. According to the scientists, the Bashkir honey has no equal for taste, curative effect and micronutrient content in the whole world.

Republic of Bashkortostan is 5 times larger than Belgium, but its population size is hardly equal to 40% of that of Belgium. Natural resources are also proportional. Beekeeping has a decades-long tradition. It includes scientific equipment for beekeeping, honey production and apiotherapy. Medical Research Institute of Bashkortostan offers highly attractive field of activity to discover new areas of honey application.
